GUNA MD-HIP is an injectable preparation based on porcine Type I collagen in the form of tropocollagen. In aesthetic practice, it is often selected when the goal is structural support and a “structural lifting” effect, especially in the mid and lower face. In parallel, product descriptions associate it with functional support of peri-articular tissues around the hip and the lumbosacral area.
Full composition
- Collagen of porcine origin
- Calcium Phosphate
- Sodium Chloride (NaCl)
- Water for injection
Aesthetic use — face & body (areas and goals)
Face
In aesthetic protocols, MD-HIP is considered for clients who need deeper structural support, including:
- loss of firmness and tissue sagging in the mid and lower face
- weakened facial ligaments and insufficient deep-tissue support
- blurred jawline definition, folds, “tired” facial profile
- sensation of facial “sliding down” despite decent skin quality
- need for structural lifting, including ligament-related ptosis (loss of FLL support)
Body
Within aesthetic concepts, it may be integrated into plans aimed at improving tissue quality and firmness where connective-tissue support is a key objective—area selection and practical protocols are covered during training.
Medical use (areas and goals)
Product descriptions commonly list support for:
- improving hip joint range of motion
- supporting peri-articular muscle tissue
- facilitating muscle stretching in the lumbosacral area
- soothing localized pain (at rest or related to movement/posture)
Important notes
- The product carries a CE marking.
- For professional use only — intended for practitioners performing injections after appropriate training (techniques and protocols are taught in training).
