MD-MATRIX is a Class III injectable medical device based on Type I porcine-derived collagen in the form of tropocollagen.

It is used as mechanical support for the regeneration processes of structures composed of fibrous connective tissue. These structures may be damaged due to injuries (sprains, strains, surgical procedures), the natural ageing process, UV exposure, environmental pollution, and other factors contributing to collagen fibre degeneration.

The excipients contained in the formulation support the structural action of tropocollagen.

Citric acid and Vitamin PP (nicotinamide) play a key role in cellular metabolism: they participate in electron transport, have antioxidant properties, and support energy production.

Vitamin PP additionally has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, improves skin microcirculation, enhances hair condition, and strengthens the extracellular matrix.
